At the wine toasting reception under the oak tree in front of the Pavilion, you can enjoy canapés while standing. Small potatoes stuffed with camembert, a variety of flavours, crab, avocado, small sausage pies and other delicacies, the chateau hotel will put its savoir-faire and experience to the service of your wedding. Along with the wine toasting reception, will be the photo sessions. Such magical moments to immortalize in the shade of the oak tree or by a pond, such as the picturesque environment of the Pavillon de Gouffern offers you.
The wedding begins on the eve of the ceremony and continues until the day after. It is possible to book the chateau hotel for two nights: this allows you time to greet your guests who have come from afar, to finalize the last details and finally to enjoy a replenishing night before the big day.
The wedding day starts off early: the hairdresser and beautician are welcome to come to the Pavillon de Gouffern so as to help you save time and the chateau hotel provides you with a private lounge in which you can attend to last minute preparations. The first guests will be greeted in another reception lounge in the hotel.
Tailor-made weddings are increasingly requested at the hotel, located at the heart of Normandy’s famous stud farms. We offer you a spectacular arrival in a hot-air balloon or a romantic one in a calash, both of which will bring you right into the hotel park in front of the swimming pool.
The tables set for eight or nine guests, allow you to associate guests by affinities. The hotel’s panoramic restaurant provides at nightfall, an exceptional sight as roe deer or wild boar appear at the edge of the forest. A pianist or a magician can accompany and entertain guests, later replaced by an orchestra or a DJ.
The following day, the hotel proposes a brunch, served in the restaurant or by the pool (50 guests maximum and accompanied children only), another moment to enjoy Normandy’s beautiful nature and peacefulness.
To complete and make your wedding in Normandy unforgettable, the Pavillon de Gouffern proposes to organise in the afternoon, a visit to the stud farm “Haras du Pin” in a calash, only three kilometres away.
